After graduating from law school, Lea Brister May was named as an Assistant Attorney General for the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General. She was assigned to the Criminal Bureau where she prosecuted insurance and unemployment fraud. In this role, she gained extensive grand jury and courtroom experience, and her work was recognized with the prestigious Edward Brooke Award for Excellence.
She then transitioned into the health and wellness industry, serving as Vice President of Sales for a startup company out of California. In this role, she honed her understanding of wellbeing principles as it relates to the skin, body, and mind.
Currently, Lea operates a consulting business providing insight to clients at the intersection of medicine and law. Additionally, she has completed the Foundations program, an International Coaching Federation accredited program.
Lea has served on numerous boards in her community including the Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute Board of Directors, the Arkansas Zoo Foundation, and the Thea Foundation Board of Directors. She currently serves on the Rhodes College Parent Council.
Lea graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BA in Finance and earned her JD from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of law.

As Director of the Externship Program and Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, Chris focuses on the leadership development and professionalism of our next generation of attorneys. In this role, she creates live and online courses that are coupled with individualized coaching sessions to build upon students’ strengths and goals. She also serves on the internal Advisory Board for the Warren Bennis Leadership Institute.
Previous positions include Litigation Attorney at Dinsmore & Shohl, Assistant Dean/ Director of Career Services at the University of Dayton School of Law, and Director of Professional Development at Graydon Law (now Bricker Graydon). Chris has also trained over a thousand independent consultants as a Workshop Facilitator at cabi, LLC, an L.A.-based apparel company.
